October 2020 Update from the McCrackens

TOGETHER WITH YOU, we're bringing people together in Rockwood to ensure that no one is invisible and that everyone has access to food, freedom, and forgiveness. TOGETHER WITH YOU, we envision Rockwood becoming a community of holistic prosperity where children are less vulnerable to being trafficked, adults do not want to traffic kids, and people are becoming followers of Jesus.

Scott Schneider and his son Jordan have been active participants and co-leaders in some of my discipleship groups.  Scott is actively sharing his faith and discipling men in his sphere of influence.  Here is a small snapshot of Scott Schneider's testimony (click the photo above to start the video link).

PRAISES AND PRAYER REQUESTS

* Our son Kyle was able to get European tuition at the graduate school in Aberdeen, Scotland where he and his new Greek bride Olga live, and they will both work on their PhD's in Theology.  They are also each looking for jobs.

* The "Living Room Church" that meets at our house on Sunday evenings currently focuses on deepening relationships, stimulating one another to love and good deeds, and encouraging each other.  We are currently studying together Francis Chan and David Platt's book "Multiply" which is about being disciples and making disciples.  Thanks for praying that everyone catches that vision and applies what we are learning together.

*  The Life Group that meets in our home on Wednesday evenings recently started a marriage study together called "Love and Respect".  Broken and challenging relationships is a common factor in a community of distress, but we are encouraged how there are already testimonies of God bringing healing to tenuous relationships.  THANK YOU for praying that the participants will continue to experience needed breakthroughs in our own relationships, and then that we will share with others what God has done for us.

* We mentioned last time a friend staying with us who has been going through a very difficult time.  He is still here (3 months now) and is experiencing some deep work of God in his life, for which we are grateful.  However, circumstances beyond his control in his life are still very discouraging and he is facing deep emotional pain.  Thank you for praying for him to continue to grow in Jesus AND that God would also change the circumstances soon.

*  Vicki had a cardioversion done last month and will likely have her second heart ablation procedure done next month.  She has a very stubborn form of Atrial Fibrillation.  Thanks for praying for her.

INTERESTING FACT ABOUT PORTLAND: Portland averages 42 inches of rain a year

Happy Thanksgiving!  We are thankful to God for MANY things He has blessed us with, but at the top of the list is YOU!

SPECIAL MESSAGE:

We know these are especially difficult times for MANY people.  For those who invested in our ministry the last few months:  THANK YOU!

For those who are not able to in these days, WE UNDERSTAND and do not want you to feel undue pressure (from without or from within).

We know that GOD is our Source and sometimes he changes the channel through which He provides.  And sometimes He provides times of testing (for all of us).

THANK YOU FOR WHATEVER PRAYERS on our behalf, AND WHATEVER FINANCIAL BLESSINGS, you are able to offer to God through our ministry...whenever...however.  We are grateful for you.

Please let us know how we can be praying for you! We are so very THANKFUL for YOU

Because of YOU, we are able to educate others about sex trafficking, help foster a collaborative spirit amongst churches in an at-risk community, disciple others who will disciple others, and take the Gospel to the nations!

Thank you for allowing God to use your prayers and financial investments to help this happen!
